My Story
Hi! I'm MJ and I've been in the photography industry for over 15 years now! I photograph newborns, and maternity all in my Chesapeake, Virginia studio. I've been featured in several print magazines and have won numerous awards for my newborn and maternity work. I am blessed to get to mentor and teach other photographers all over the WORLD!
I was also recently the ranked #1 in the state of Virginia as a top rated business.
NUMBER 1!!!! This was given to me based on my 5 star reviews on google and social media sites. That means the world to me. My actual clients, giving amazing reviews says a lot.

I have grown in this industry to capture timeless, classic looks for my clients, which is what I have become known for. I focus on my subjects to create simple, but stunning memories for you. I'm all about giving you something outside the box. GLAM is the name of the game when it comes to being in front of my camera.

I am a full service studio. I have a stunning client closet for your maternity and newborn needs. I provide professional makeup application at the studio, prior to your session time. I go out of my way to make you feel like a princess. You SHOULD feel gorgeous when you are in my studio!!

Lisa is my right hand girl! She styles our newborn setups and keeps your baby safe in all poses. She play a highly important role in what we do with your baby.

MJ has a beautifully designed studio where she works with newborns and maternity clients. The studio is stocked with goodies for all sessions, including snacks and coffee and of course all the outfits and props you can imagine! The goal is to have a relaxed environment so photos can be fun and be easy.
MJ provides it all, so sit back and watch the magic unfold!

Wonderful Experience! She has an on-site makeup artist Ashley who is GREAT at what she does! All of the props and dresses are included which makes the whole ordeal stress free! You literally just show up, look and feel beautiful and have a GREAT time! MJ made sure to get me back in for my “photo reveal “ so that I may use some pictures for my baby shower! She’s very friendly and welcoming and a great “hype” woman! You won’t regret booking a maternity session!!
